Dr. Malik has been my gastro dr. for 10 years. I trust him 100% with my gastro health. He cares about his patients and make sure they get the best care available. He also took care of my husband when he was sick until his passing. I would recommend Dr. Malik to anyone who needed a caring and wonderful doctor. I’m hoping his practice gets an office closer to our area, Portsmouth or Suffolk.

I have been employed at Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center for 33 years and associated with hundreds of doctors during my tenure. In that time I have met many very capable physicians, but only a few that have gained the respect that Dr. Malik has throughout the hospital staff. ….. as Clinical Leader in the Endoscopy Unit I have observed and learned why he has garnered such respect from the medical community. Dr. Malik is an exceptional physician. He treats all staff members with respect and kindness. His demeanor communicates confidence, which translates into exceptional care and inspires the staff to do and be their best. His positive and encouraging attitude brings a higher level of professionalism to our work environment at the hospital.

I have known Dr. Malik since he began his Gastroenterology fellowship at UIC in 1995. I served as an attending faculty member and endoscopy mentor for him throughout his fellowship. Since then, I have kept close contact with him and see him regularly at yearly meetings such at DDW. His work as a GI fellow was exemplary, and I still consider him the finest clinical fellow we have had at UIC since I began in 1994. His knowledge base, work ethic, and dedication to his patients were outstanding, and his endoscopic skills were excellent.

I have been seen by Dr. Malik for the past 15 years, since I was 15 years old. I have had several doctors before him at Children's Hospital of Kings Daughter, VCU Health ( MCV), and John Hopkins.Out of all the doctors that I have had for the past 20 years, he is by far the best! Dr. Malik helped me transition from a pediatric patient to an adult patient by asking me what I thought and what I wanted. I had never been treated with such the upmost respect and as if my opinion mattered.
